The dancers in the video are called the W.A.F.F.L.E. crew (We Are Family For Life Entertainment).Manning explains, “I’ve always been fascinated by movies that capture specific eras of the New York subways; Jacob’s Ladder and The Warriors are great examples. I woke up one day in July and decided I was going to find the best subway dance crew. Julia (director) and I rode the Q train and after one hour we met a dancer named Drew Saunders, aka Goofy. He and I discussed my vision and the rest fell into place… One week later we shot a day in the life of the W.A.F.F.L.E. crew.”
